Check for any obvious injuries - bleeding, broken bones, soft spots or bumps, especially around the head. If there are no obvious injuries, monitor your baby's behavior for the next 24 hrs. If your baby is behaving normally (aside from brief crying right after the fall), then your baby is most likely fine. If your baby is behaving differently from usual in any way - crying too much, too sleepy, vomiting, not eating, uncoordinated, etc, or you simply feel that something is off, take your baby to the doctor right away.
