Making money online largely depends on your skill level and interests as well as the time you’re willing to put in. Here are some of the ways you can make money online:
- Freelance - you can be a freelancer (doesn’t mean only writing) and apply for various jobs in the area that you’re good at. Whether it be webdesign, writing, logo design, anything. There are a lot of jobs but the downside is there are a lot of applicants as well. Because of the volume of low bids, you may not get paid for what you’re worth. However, the more you do freelance work, the more your job portfolio would expand and you can eventually increase your rate. Go to upwork.com or freelancer.com to subscribe for free and apply/search for jobs that would suit you. You can also search for jobs at craigslist.com.
- Tutor - any profession can tutor. And because of the internet, we can connect to the whole world. If you’re good at what you do and feel you can share your knowledge and expertise to other people who would need extra help in the subject, by all means, tutor them online.
- Trade stocks - this all depends on the risk you’re willing to take and how you analyse the trend of the market. This is a good way to invest your money for a long-term period.
- Online business - you can again utilise the power of the internet and setup your own online business dedicated to the specific skill set that you have.
- Affiliate marketing - you can help other fishermen catch small fishes by leading them to the websites.
- Answer paid surveys - from memory, I think I personally saved $400 worth of groceries from gift cards I got from answering paid surveys. If you have a minute or two to spare online everyday, this would be worth a shot. Just make sure you find a paying survey website though. Mine is valuedopinions (australia) so not sure if it would be applicable to you.
- Buy and sell things - this is a classic way of making money. You can buy things on clearance sale for half the price and sell them for profit. The same thing can be done with second hand items. Buy those you think you can restore without spending too much and sell them for a good price. I’ve read many success stories of people who’ve gotten really rich being a “flipper”.
Hope this helps.
